Best Cuban food in Miami. All traditional Cuban dishes are available every day. Cheap lunch. Great coffee and desserts, traditional Cuban stuff only.

I have come to this restaurant twice and always got the same dish because it is out of the box! The ground beef in wine sauce (picadillo al vino) is amazing! It comes with two sides and I always get an extra side to make the perfect combo of white rice, black beans and plantains. The service is also great! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sometimes, the best culinary adventures lie just around the corner. Habana Vieja Restaurant transported me to the vibrant streets of Cuba without ever leaving my neighborhood. From the warm welcome to the last bite of flavorful food, it was an experience that had me yearning for more. The aroma of spices and garlic greeted me as I stepped into the cozy space. The decor, with its bright accents and vintage Cuban posters, immediately set the mood. I felt like I had stumbled into a bustling little eatery tucked away in the heart of Havana. The menu is a love letter to classic Cuban cuisine. I opted for the Ropa Vieja, a traditional dish of slow-cooked, and fried, shredded beef. The beef was fork-tender and bursting with savory goodness, a perfect match for the sweet fried plantains and perfectly seasoned black beans and rice. My dining companion raved about their fresh fish of the day. It was pan-seared to perfection, with a crispy skin and flaky, delicate flesh. Every bite spoke of quality ingredients and a skilled hand in the kitchen. No Cuban meal is complete without a taste of something sweet, and Habana Vieja didn't disappoint. We shared a generous slice of flan, its silky custard texture and caramelized sugar topping the perfect ending to our meal. The service throughout was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall warmth of the experience. Habana Vieja isn't just about the food – though it's certainly delicious – it's about transporting you to another place and time. If you're craving authentic Cuban flavors and a dose of vibrant island spirit, Habana Vieja is an absolute must-try.

Wonderful food wonderful people. My Spanish is little at best and their English was great. This had a very family feel. Can’t wait to come again. Beef creole is what my husband had and I had chicken cordon blue. Both fresh made and wonderful.
